My Day on a Plate: Carl Bart

9pm A couple of bananas, some chocolate and a large swig of rum to steady my nerves before we go on. Keep it nearby, next to some water, which I never drink.

11pm Come off stage and take five minutes to decompress before everyone storms in and the pizza goes round.

2am Microwaved cheese on a French stick ? it's quite disgusting but I always have it. Rum or strong continental lager at the after-party.

Carl's going to struggle to meet his nutritional requirements with his on-the-road diet. There's not much in the way of antioxidants, fibre or B vitamins here. It's a very protein-heavy diet, which means he won't be hungry but he does need to try to weave in more wholegrains, fruit and vegetables to balance things out.
