The British Lung Foundation, who provided the footage, say it leaves sufferers constantly tired while they snore.
The footage was released to the Telegraph as patients are now grappling with a new supposed cure. Called a CPAP (continuous positive airways pressure) device, it involves wearing a face mask at night through which air is pumped to keep the airways open.
